note:

What is time, what is beauty if not artificial myths?

They do not exist in nature, they are insignificant, they are castles of paper. Yet man chases after them, unaware that they are ineffable. Nature in Empty Space investigates man's estrangement from nature and the fear of death. It is necessary to label time and beauty, these being the only quantities that mark life and clarify the proximity to death. The human mind thus becomes a supermarket, where everything is in order, in the respective sections and departments.

The performance takes place in a small dark room with the appearance of a cave / cave whose walls are covered with black plastic, the artist, dressed in a tight black jumpsuit, is curled up in a corner, in front of her are placed on the ground, in an orderly way, some containers, jars and a copper pan filled with white cream.

The artist's intention is to bring attention to the excessive consumerism of beauty capitalism, the cave in fact represents the cosmetic corner of a supermarket.

The artist begins his performance by pouring the oil into one of the containers. Performing very slow instinctive and almost animalistic movements, she takes the cream from the jars and spreads it on her body and on the floor rolling in it for a few minutes.

The cream permeates the suit not allowing her to see or breathe, so the gasps and spasms of the body create an auditory loop in a further indication of what is the psychological and social danger of mass manipulation.
